I have been to Spot dessert bar at St. Marks. They have always had incredible quality dessert. I have passed by this location in flusing on Prince street many times but yesterday was the first time I took friends to experience it. OMG! Don't let the photo of what I ordered fool you. All of them tasted like they were made many months ago, especially the golden toast, we were having problem separating the chunks with a knife. It was chewy and ew, terrible. Can't separate any square with a spoon. So needless to say, eating that order was very challenging. The Harvest had an incredible rasperbery sobert, but the stuff in the pot tasted like old dirt. The cookie camp tasted ok but should be a lot more delicious than what we ate yesterday. If I have not visited any Spot Dessert Bar before, I would have thought Spot is crap. But I know, just this location is terrible. A word to the management there, keep your stuff fresh. It is not cheap dessert so keep it premium, don't messed up the brand. I am still disappointed.

Our group of five visited Spot Dessert Bar in Flushing on a Sunday night, Aug 2, 2026. It's a cute little dessert shop, and we shared three desserts: the Matcha Lava, Harvest, and Milky Puff. All three were delicious and not overly sweet, which we really liked. The place was busy, and the service was just okay. Since we had five people, an automatic 20% gratuity was added. I understood the service charge for a larger party, but 20 % was high for the service didn't really stand out. What was disappointing was that when I reviewed the receipt, it stated a 20% gratuity, but the amount actually charged worked out to about 24%. I brought it to the server's attention, but she said she didn't know why and that the system was programmed that way. I asked for a refund of the difference, but was told the manager will fix it on Monday. It had been several weeks and it wasn’t fixed. Please check your check if you decided to visit this place.

We ordered the Golden Toast and the Matcha Lava. Everything tasted amazing and our server Tina was super helpful and attentive. I always love coming to this location.

I ordered the “Harvest” dish, and it was definitely fun with a lot of interactive elements. Unfortunately, the taste itself didn’t leave much of an impression One thing I do like about this place is that they introduce new seasonal items throughout the year, and the promotional photos sometimes look tempting. This visit didn’t quite win me over, but if a new menu catches my eye next time, there’s a good chance I will give it another try

honestly some of the best desserts in flushing. i’ve been multiple times, and i love at least one thing i order each time. the drinks are just alright, but the ice cream, cookies, and cakes blow me away. the caramel miso cookies is genuinely one of my favorite things in this world ever since i tried it!! good food, great atmosphere, however one thing holds this place back from being 5 stars in my book: the service. although servers are friendly, every time i come here, no matter if it’s busy or slow, i have to flag them down so i can pay or have them just take my order. as someone who has worked in food service, dealing with multiple customers can be overwhelming, i understand. however, it’s discourages me as a customer to come back to that. on the night of white day, despite being sat, my friend and i didn’t get any menu, then once we grabbed our own, had to wait more for our order to be taken. even when it’s slow, servers aren’t on the floor, and i’ve waited longer to pay than to have my food come out. i don’t blame them for the most part- as i usually only ever see one person on the floor, even on busy weekends. i hope the owner hires enough people to make sure the team is supp
